LG Spectrum

LG Spectrum is the most recent smartphone to be unveiled by consumer product manufacturer LG.

The phone will come with a 4.5 inch display screen with a 720 pixel resolution.

The smartphone will be made available for sale from 19th January, 2012 in the United States.

Unfortunately, there are rumors that the phone might not debut in the competitive UK market. Given that it is a 4G handset, it will only be exclusively available to mobile subscribers on the Verizon network.

Specifications of LG Spectrum

The phone comes with a resolution of 1280 by 720. In addition to the wide screen, the phone has a 329 pixel density.

This in turn makes it possible to view images with as much clarity as possible.

Thanks to the 500-nit brightness as well as the real-stripe RGB pixel, it is quite possible to use the phone while under the sun. You can use it directly beneath the sun without any interference.

Perhaps the most defining factor of the LG Spectrum is the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm duo-core processor.

Since the smartphone comes with Android 2.30 you can expect the OS to load and run smoothly.

While launching the phone, LG announced that the processor will be upgraded to an Ice Cream Sandwich by around June.

The phone comes with an 8 megapixel hind camera which allows you to capture clear images plus a 1.3 megapixel front camera.

The powerful processor will be supported by an 8 GB inbuilt memory in addition to a 1GB RAM.

Nevertheless, the removable memory can support up to a maximum of 32 GB and the phone is powered by an 183mAh battery.

Given its power, you can use the phone to create, send and share office documents amongst other applications. In essence, you have a micro-computer on your palm.
