What is MiFi – A Personal HotSpot for Smart WiFi Connectivity
We all know what WiFi is and most of us also know the difference between WiMAX and WiFi.
But very few people know about MiFi because it is the newest member of wireless technology.
It allows you to connect portably and create a small network and your personal hotspot. For instance in class rooms (if you are allowed to use cell phones), hostels, while walking on street, offices and almost anywhere.

When you buy a Blackberry phone it is usually locked to the network provider you buy the phone with. This is really annoying as you are not able to use any other SIM card with the phone.
The phone regularly shows the message “SIM card not accepted” when you insert any SIM card other than the one you got with your phone. There are times when my phone battery got discharged and i wanted to use my friends phone and it was not accepted as the phone was locked to his network provider.
The word unlocking seems scary as you might think you are doing something illegal, but its not. You have paid for the phone and you own it.

There are a whole bunch of apps available on the Mac app store and places like download.com some of which are useful and some of which less than useful.
With more and more former PC users picking up Mac’s for the first time often I get the question “what software should I install?” well here is the definitive answer, 3 pieces of software every Mac owner should Install right away.
Out of the box Mac’s come with Quicktime and Itunes and while Itunes is fine for audio Quicktime tries to make you update to a premium version to play any file that isn’t in a Quicktime format.

With the coming of the HTC Evo 3D; the competition for the best 3D phone has heated up. So we look and compare the two main contenders for best 3D smart phone – the HTC Evo 3D and the LG Optimus 3D.
Both phones are candy bar shaped phones and offer the complete black monolithic look these phones often do. One of the biggest giveaways that they are 3D phones is the dual lenses on the back of both.
This is so the phones can record in 3D. Both phones are a bit larger than their 2D counterparts, though the HTC much more so. The LG is a not so large at 11.3mm thick; the HTC is a bit larger with 12mm of girth.
