Andy Rubin from Google in an Interview with the New York Times disclosed that the new version of Android mobile OS is going to support Flash.
Sometime ago Adobe gave a demo to Google and showed how it will look like on Nexus One. It’s a major update in the Android version and the project was code named FroYo. He said Google does not share the view of being militant and taking away things from people what they enjoy. They believe in compatibility, interoperability and giving users a great overall experience.
Rubin also commented that Google will be more than happy to get all the attention that Apple has been getting after the stolen iPhone 4G.
He reiterated that Google is committed to keep Android open to everyone – open API access, open to developers, open to even porn.
